Indianola Blues Challenge Band Winner

GoodPaper of the Reverend Robert Mortimer of Greenville won the 13^th Annual Mississippi Delta Regional Blues BAND Challenge.   It was held at B.B. King’s Club Ebony on Sunday, October 16^th.  Pictured:  Robert Mortimer, Walter Washington, Jeffrey Tonos, and David Morgan.  Mortimer and his band will represent MDBSI in Memphis at the 33^rd Annual International Blues Challenge February 1-4, 2017.  Last year over 250 acts (band, solo/duo, youth) from 44 States and 18 foreign countries came to Beale Street to perform.  Photo by: Randy Magee, Leland
