B.B. King Museum - Invitation to Learning Center Opening

Please join us on Labor Day for the opening of our new AT&T Learning center. B.B. King will be here to cut the ribbon, along with Mayo Flynt, President of AT&T Mississippi, and other dignitaries, students and museum supporters. Live music begins at 10:15, then a drumming workshop for students after the opening of the building. Club Ebony will be serving lunch, and we’ll unveil the latest Blues Trail marker there at 1:30 with more live music.

And more to come on the following Saturday, September 12th! Live music all day and into the evening as we celebrate our first year anniversary and B.B.’s birthday. The day at the Museum will culminate with a special screening of Austin City Limits, the 1983 show featuring B.B., and commentary by the show’s founder, Terry Lickona. Plenty of good food and music all over town that night!
