Bernie Jenkins Band Wins

The 11^th Annual Mississippi Delta Regional Blues Challenge band competition was held at Club Ebony in Indianola on Sunday, October 19^th.  Bernard Jenkins and his band from Ridgeland, MS won the Challenge.  A total of seven bands competed.  The other groups came from Pearl, Clarksdale (Big A-2^nd Place), Sumner, Booneville, Petal, and Brandon.

Bernard will represent MDBSI at The Blues Foundation’s 31^st Annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis January 21-24, 2015. See www.blues.org for more information and updates.
